Signature Project Meeting This week
The Signature Project Committee is guided by Rotary values and is seeking projects that increase Rotary's visibility in the community while providing meaningful opportunities for member involvement. In addition, project ideas are evaluated using the following criteria, based on a review of over 30 community surveys and assessments:
Positively impact mental health
Strengthen community connections
Benefit multiple generations
The committee has reviewed more than 30 submitted ideas and narrowed the list to eight finalists. The next meeting will be held on September 16 from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. at the Marie Blakeman Center at CCH (1320 Wisconsin Street). All members are encouraged to attend and participate in the discussion.
The goal of the meeting is to gather additional information, review the finalist ideas, and narrow the list to three or fewer potential projects.
As we continue the summer and head into fall, we need to continue to water the pollinator gardens at CNC three times each week. Watering can be done by one Rotarian each time.
We have an opportunity in the upcoming months to deliver meals to New Richmond Grace Place. Rotarians will pick up the meal at Camp St. Croix Cafeteria at 4:30 pm and deliver to Grace Place by 5:00.
Reminder that all of our meetings are recorded! You can request a link to a specific recording by contacting John Salmi. The recordings are available for 25 days, after which they are automatically deleted.
