Families and Halloween lovers are invited to join the festivities at the Hilltop Pumpkin Party and the 71st Annual Rotary Halloween Parade on Saturday, Oct. 19, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. This exciting event — held at Camp St. Croix DayCroix at 345 Riverview Drive, Hudson, Wis. — promises fun for all ages with a variety of fall-themed activities. Admission is free.
Costume enthusiasts are encouraged to come dressed in their spookiest or most creative outfits. Don’t miss your chance to participate in the Rotary Costume Contest, starting at 1:15 p.m. Cash prizes will be awarded to the Top 5 “Best Costumes” in four age groups, with the “Best of Show” winner receiving $150. Group costumes are also welcome, with prizes of $45 and $25 going to the top two groups.
In addition to the parade and costume contest, attendees can enjoy horse-drawn wagon rides, pumpkin decorating, a petting zoo, activities and delicious food and treats. The event offers the perfect opportunity to experience the vibrant autumn colors in Hudson while making unforgettable family memories.
