The 2026 Tree Diversity Program closed on April 15, 2026.

Hudson has long been known as a city with beautiful trees. Since 2023, however, hundreds of trees have been lost due to the onslaught of Emerald Ash Borer, Dutch Elm Disease, and two significant summer storms. Hudson Daybreak Rotary is teaming up with Willow River Tree Service, the City of Hudson, and Hudson High School to offer high-quality trees to help replace and diversify our community's trees.

Donation & City Boulevard Planting Information

Trees may also be purchased for DONATION to either the City of Hudson or Hudson School District. Trees that are purchased for DONATION do not need to be picked up, Hudson Daybreak Rotary will deliver these trees directly.

Please note on the form if your trees are to be DONATED and DELIVERED vs. trees you are purchasing for personal use. If you want to donate trees to the City of Hudson to help replenish our tree canopy, they must be either the St. Croix Elm, or the River Birch Clump trees.

If you want to plant a tree in a City Boulevard, here is the information and permit application: City of Hudson Permit Application for Tree Planting in City Boulevard.

Six different species of trees are being offered. These trees are bare root trees that were reasonably priced and easy to transport and plant this spring.

Pick up your trees May 1-3, 2026, at Willow River Company, 850 Kelly Road, Hudson, WI.
• Friday, May 1: 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
• Saturday, May 2: 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
• Sunday, May 3: 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
