Tara Greiman & Patty Schrank
How Safe Is Your Water?

On Earth Day, we’re zeroing in on clean drinking water. Nearly half of county residents rely on private wells—many without realizing the potential exposure to contaminants for their families and pets. Tara and Patty will break down the risks and share practical steps you can take to protect your water. We’ll also offer on-site nitrate screening during the meeting—so bring a sample from home and leave informed!

Tara Greiman is the Wisconsin Farmers Union Director of Conservation and Stewardship. In this role, she connects the many conservation-focused projects of the WFU to help promote win-win scenarios that benefit farmers, our food system, and our environment.

Patty Schrank is the Water Resource Specialist with St. Croix County. Her focus is on understanding nitrate contamination, raising groundwater awareness, and advancing practical solutions to protect our water resources in the area.
